Yoga and pilates
A timetable, places that are counted, cards that are drawn down.
A studio does not sell appointments, it sells places in a class that runs anyway. The problem is not finding a slot, it is knowing how many mats are still free on Tuesday at seven.
The Membership plan opens group sessions with limited places and prepaid packs, which are the two mechanics of a studio.
Group classes
A group session has a date, a length, a teacher, a room and a number of places. Once the places are taken the class is no longer bookable, and the public page says so instead of letting someone try their luck.
Sessions are scheduled in batches to cover a weekly timetable, and cancelled one at a time when a teacher is away.
- Limited places per session, counted down live
- A room is a resource: two classes cannot overlap in it
- Batch scheduling of a timetable's sessions
- Cancellation of a session, with the people booked into it known
Class cards
Prepaid packs and credits let you sell a ten-class card paid for once and drawn down at each attendance. The payment lands in your Stripe account, and no commission is taken on the cards you sell.
Students find their bookings in their own area and drop out themselves when they cannot come, which hands the place back to someone else.
One-to-one sessions too
A studio usually sells both: the group timetable and private sessions. Individual appointments work as they do everywhere else in Sutempo, with a calendar per teacher and services that carry their length and price.
Same catalogue, same public page, same payouts.
Frequently asked questions
Which plan do group classes need?
Membership, at 49 EUR per month per studio, excluding VAT. It is the plan that opens sessions with limited places and prepaid packs.
Can I sell ten-class cards?
Yes, with the prepaid packs and credits on the Membership plan. The card is paid for once and drawn down at each session.
What happens when a class is full?
It stops being bookable and the public page says so. A drop-out frees the place immediately.
Do you take a commission on the cards I sell?
No. Payments go through your own Stripe account and we take nothing.
